Titan Raises $74M, Acquires RFA to Build AI-Enabled MSP Platform

Titan has secured $74 million in funding led by General Catalyst and marked the milestone with its first acquisition: RFA, a managed service provider focused on the financial services sector. The move sets the stage for Titan’s vision of transforming IT services through its augmented AI platform, blending AI-driven automation with human expertise.

The managed services space is under pressure to evolve. Traditional MSPs often rely on manual processes and ticket-based workflows that can’t keep pace with growing complexity and client expectations. AI, particularly agentic AI systems, offers a path to automate routine work, anticipate problems before they occur, and enable technicians to act as strategic advisors rather than reactive support.

Titan's co-founder Saurin Patel told ChannelE2E that the company’s AI-enabled roll-up model gives MSPs “the ability to better serve their customers and grow faster.” He added that, as in the past, “channel partnerships will continue to be one of the potential growth opportunities for MSPs.”

By integrating Titan’s AI platform into RFA’s operations, the company aims to create a different breed of MSP - scalable and technology-first but still grounded in high-touch service. “Our first and primary goal is service quality,” Patel said. “We believe with the use of Augmented AI, technicians will have more bandwidth and capacity to provide better, faster, and more personalized service to our end customers. As we expand capacity, we will be able to expand revenue by taking on additional clients, but also be able to offer more personalized technology and AI services to them.”

For MSPs that join Titan’s platform, the promise is a shift from being service-heavy businesses to technology-powered organizations. For clients, it’s the potential for a more predictive, intelligent, and business-aligned IT partnership.
