WBM Technologies Acquires Carlyle Printers Service and Supplies

WBM Technologies (WBM) has acquired Carlyle Printers Service and Supplies (Carlyle), a print technology solution provider in Manitoba, Canada. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Expanding Presence in Manitoba

With Carlyle's inclusion, WBM will now manage a team of 95 professionals in Manitoba. The acquisition also brings a new support service location and a 15,000-square-foot facility in Winnipeg, the company said. 

This collaboration makes them one of the larger Managed Print Technology Providers in Manitoba. Furthermore, the overall WBM team now totals 601 members across Western Canada, aiming to be a notable managed IT solutions provider in the region, according to WBM.

Eric Johannson will continue leading the Carlyle team in Manitoba and will join the WBM Technologies Leadership team. Co-Founder Derek Johannson will remain with Carlyle, focusing on key customer relations.

The acquisition took effect on September 1, 2023. Carlyle will retain its name but will carry the “Powered by WBM” badge. There will be no changes to Carlyle’s existing customer services, the company said.
