Accenture has reached an agreement to acquire Navisite, a provider of digital transformation and managed services, for an undisclosed amount.

Accenture, founded in 1989, is based in Dublin, Ireland. The company has 541,251 employees listed on LinkedIn. Accenture's areas of expertise include artificial intelligence, data and analytics and security.
Navisite, established in YEAR, operates from Andover, Maryland. The company has 1,520 employees listed on LinkedIn. Navisite’s area’s of expertise include Managed Cloud Infrastructure Services, Cloud Desktop Services (DaaS), Application Services, and Hosting Services.
About the Deal
This strategic acquisition is designed to enhance Accenture’s application and infrastructure managed services, particularly in North America, aiding clients in modernizing IT for the AI era.
Interestingly, the company noted in a press release that private equity investment firm Madison Dearborn Partners was involved in the deal but did not disclose the financial details of their involvement.
The acquisition is contingent on customary closing conditions.
