BCR Cyber, a provider of cybersecurity training, certification, and job placement services, has made its Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) Personnel Database available online.
This tool is designed to assist Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and other interested parties in verifying the qualifications of assessors conducting Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) assessments.
Founded in 2017, BCR Cyber, formerly known as Baltimore Cyber Range, offers training solutions to government and commercial clients.
Support for Cloud Service Providers and 3PAOs
The 3PAO Personnel Database serves as a mechanism for confirming the BCR Cyber Proficiency Testing certification and qualifications of individual assessors, the company says. It offers access to a subset of the assessor data maintained for the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) FedRAMP 3PAO accreditation program.
With this database, users can identify and confirm the skills, knowledge, and certifications of 3PAO assessors, aiding in the maintenance of security and compliance standards, according to BCR.
Access to the database is available for $19.99, providing 30 minutes of access time, the company said.
BCR Cyber's Commitment to Cybersecurity
Michael Spector, president, BCR Cyber, commented:
"BCR Cyber is committed to supporting both 3PAOs and CSPs involved in the FedRAMP program through the creation and maintenance of proficiency testing in support of the program. The launch of the database represents a new capability for identifying and confirming the skills, knowledge, and certifications of individual 3PAO assessors."
