Apple Mac, iPhone Management: Fleetsmith Raises $30M Series B

Fleetsmith, which provides automated Apple macOS and iOS device management software, has raised $30 million in Series B funding led by Menlo Ventures.

Fleetsmith's remote monitoring and management (RMM) software platform automates device setupintelligencepatching, and security for Apple Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs -- while focusing like a laser on macOS and iOS.

Fleetsmith, founded in 2016, has raised $40 million to date. The latest capital will further fund the company's device management platform, grow its international presence, and hire new team members, the firm said.

Fleetsmith CEO Zack Blum in a blog said European customers will be a major focus.

“With our funding, we’ll be able to work closely with our existing European customers while introducing Fleetsmith to new companies that run on Apple devices.

"(W)e’re thrilled to use our new funding to hire more people—that means more than tripling the size of our team. We love our team in San Francisco, and can’t wait to grow it around the world. If you’re inspired by our vision to build the future of modern IT, we're hiring now across all functions!”

Additionally, Fleetsmith will release a new admin console within a few months. ChannelE2E is checking to see if the console is multi-tenant for MSPs and other types of service providers.
