Momentum, a global managed services provider, has completed its acquisition of Horizon Telecom, a Netherlands-based next-generation managed services provider. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Momentum, founded in 2001, is based in Atlanta, Georgia. The company has 493 employees listed on LinkedIn. Horizon Telecom, founded in 2014, is based in Ede, Germany. The company has 111 employees listed on LinkedIn. Horizon’s areas of specialties include communication and connectivity solutions, security and related professional services, carrier-neutral operations, global digital infrastructure orchestration, consistent service level agreements (SLAs), network operating center (NOC), global voice platform, and an advanced global control portal for clients.
About The Deal
The deal is part of Momentum’s strategy to enhance its global solutions and strengthen its position in the communications industry, according to the company.
The acquisition brings together Horizon Telecom's services with Momentum’s portfolio, enhancing offerings in enterprise voice, Microsoft Teams, SD-WAN, and managed network solutions. It extends Momentum's global voice offerings, providing PSTN replacement services in 72 countries and number availability in more than 150 countries, the company said.
This is Momentum's seventh acquisition as it extends its reach in the European market.
Horizon’s CEO Melvin Jellesma and CTO Bert Kamper will maintain leadership roles in the European division of the merged company, Momentum said. Horizon Telecom will continue to operate under its existing brand, the company said
