Veeam Extends Partnership With Microsoft

Data protection and ransomware recovery company Veeam Software has announced a five-year extension of its strategic partnership with Microsoft

As part of the partnership, Veeam’s suite of products will be integrated with Microsoft Copilot and AI services in an aim to increase innovation around data protection, according to the company.

This collaboration will focus on providing data protection for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure users through the Veeam Data Cloud.

Both companies will engage in a multi-year engineering effort to develop technologies that help organizations stay operational despite cybersecurity threats, system failures, and natural disasters by leveraging Veeam’s backup and recovery capabilities alongside Microsoft’s technological innovation and infrastructure, the companies said in a prepared statement.
