Major cloud-based risk management provider AuditBoard has updated its platform with new artificial intelligence-based features that seek to lessen compliance challenges and bolster cybersecurity defenses, according to SC Media.
Leading the new tools for the AuditBoard platform introduced at this year's Audit + Beyond Conference is Automated Vendor Assessments, which leverages AI to pre-fill compliance questionnaires, resulting in accelerated vendor evaluations.
AuditBoard has also added Intelligent Staffing, which uses AI to facilitate team member skill and availability analysis and address project staffing challenges, as well as Automated Framework Updates, which enables immediate discovery of important revisions to frameworks.
"Organizations are often overwhelmed by the complex tasks required to maintain compliance, which can leave them vulnerable to cyber threats. Our goal is to eliminate 90% of these repetitive tasks, so teams can focus on strategic risk management that directly protects their business," said AuditBoard Vice President of Engineering, AI/ML Anton Dam.
