Today’s Tech, Channel and MSP News

1. Cloudflare Blocks AI Web-Scraping Bots: Last week, Cloudflare debuted a tool to block AI bots from scraping website content and using the data without permission to train machine learning models, according to The Register. The free one-click tool allows customers to block all AI bots, and Cloudflare said in a statement that it's available for all customers, including those on the free tier of its web hosting service. Cloudlfare's bot detection approach relies on digital fingerprinting, The Register explained, a technique that is also commonly used to track people online and deny privacy. Crawlers, like individual internet users, often stand out from the crowd based on technical details that can be read through network interactions.

2. Integrity360 Adds Darktrace Services to Portfolio: Integrity360 last week announced the addition of Darktrace services to its portfolio of managed security services. Integrity360 will act as a channel partner offering the entirety of the Darktrace ActiveAI Security Platform to customers, the company said in a statement, including its AI-powered solutions: PREVENT, DETECT, RESPOND and HEAL with the DETECT and RESPOND Network services also available as part of Integrity360’s MDR offering. The Darktrace technologies will be offered across three incrementally advanced managed service tiers. The managed service will see DETECT and RESPOND telemetry data fed into Integrity360’s security operations centers (SOCs) and supplemented with support services. Integrity360 plans to add the Darktrace/OT offering integrated with MDR later in the year, according to the statement.

3. CGI Acquires Credit Union Business From Celero: IT and business consultancy CGI has acquired Celero's Canadian credit union business, which includes master services agreements across managed services, core banking, digital banking and related IT services. The strategic acquisition complements and expands CGI's core banking service offerings and digital banking solutions to the Canadian credit union sector, the companies said in a statement. Under the agreement, CGI acquires the managed services business with more than 90 credit unions and adds Credit Union Central of Manitoba (CUCM), Alberta Central and SaskCentral. More than 150 Celero employees will join CGI.

4. Lyra Teams With Breach Secure Now on Cybersecurity Training: Breach Secure Now (BSN) and Lyra Technology Group are teaming up to enhance MSPs' cybersecurity posture by making BSN's automated breach prevention and productivity training platform to all MSPs within the Lyra Technology Group family. This platform for Lyra Technology Group will include unlimited phishing simulations, weekly training content, dark web monitoring, policy and procedure templates, security risk assessment tools, an employee secure score dashboard, AI fundamentals training, AI cybersecurity training, AI acceptable use policy templates and more.
