Database Specialists' expertise includes architecture, design, database tuning, performance management, and ongoing 24x7 technical support and continuous improvements. The company also has proprietary technology called Database Rx -- a bespoke database monitoring, security, health check, and alert notifications platform.

TriCore, meanwhile, was founded around 2000 and has 260 enterprise-class companies worldwide. The company's core focus includeshosting and supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems from Oracle and SAP.  TriCore is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, with offices in India and throughout North America.

TriCore Keeps Buying Oracle, SAP Channel Partners

This is TriCore's third acquisition in the past year. The company purchased 3G3 in June 2016 as part of its SAP platform push. And in September 2015, TriCore acquired Group Basis — an SAP-focused partner.

TriCore doesn’t disclose financial terms of the buyouts, nor does the company publicly discuss headcount figures.
