CyFlare, TD SYNNEX Partner on Cybersecurity ‘to Relieve Partners’ Burden’

CyFlare’s comprehensive Security Operations Center (SOC) services will now be available through TD SYNNEX’s 7,000 global MSPs in a new partnership that aims to protect end user customers with a broad cybersecurity defense architecture that will help SMBs battle dangerous existing and evolving cyberattacks.

The deal pairs CyFlare’s SOC specialist products and services with TD SYNNEX’s large distribution network, making it easier for SMBs and other companies to find trusted partners that can work to secure the 24/7 cybersecurity services and protections that they require.

To deliver these cybersecurity services to customers, “CyFlare has tightly integrated with the TD SYNNEX ServiceSolv offerings to take as much burden off the partner and customer as possible,” Joe Morin, the CEO of CyFlare, told ChannelE2E.

“CyFlare was purpose-built for the channel,” said Morin. “Given that, TD SYNNEX has significant reach within the MSP and reseller community, serving customers of all sizes and verticals and allowing CyFlare to provide security solutions globally to more organizations in need of an affordable SOC solution while being profitable for the MSP/Reseller.”

CyFlare is one of the MSSP 250 cybersecurity companies on the recently announced MSSP Alert 2024 list.

TD SYNNEX brings its established managed services and professional services to the arrangement, while CyFlare will provide SOC tools that will help extend managed detection and response (MDR) and SOC offerings for end-user businesses, according to the vendors. A major benefit of CyFlare’s tools is that they can be brought in by TD SYNNEX to quickly integrate with the tools their customers are already using, the companies added.

Smart Partnerships are the Pathway to Success Today: Analyst

“As cyber threats become more sophisticated—which is happening by leaps and bounds thanks to generative AI—MSPs are often challenged in ways they have not before encountered,” Shelly Kramer, the principal analyst at SiliconANGLE Media, Inc. and theCUBE Research & Advisory, told ChannelE2E. “Not only are they working to stay ahead of the competition on the AI front, leveraging AI as part of their security operations, but they are also seeing a massive increase in customer demand for more robust products and services, given the rise in phishing, ransomware and other cyberthreats. MSPs are a critical part of this equation.”

Under these conditions, the CyFlare and TD SYNNEX deal makes plenty of sense for the vendors and their customers, said Kramer.

“I am firmly convinced that the path to success in today's rapidly evolving tech ecosystem is all about forming smart, strategic partnerships, and that is exactly what TD SYNNEX and CyFlare are doing,” said Kramer. “Partnering to deliver a turnkey cybersecurity strategy allows MSPs within the TD SYNNEX network to leverage the security experts and expertise of CyFlare, which should shorten the time to value and speed organizations' ability to be proactive about their cybersecurity needs, rather than dealing with them reactively.”

In addition, “every organization struggles with the lack of skilled talent, and partnerships like this, which position MSPs to be able to leverage the power of CyFlare's solutions and expertise quickly and easily via the TD SYNNEX distribution network, benefit everyone, most especially the end customers,” said Kramer. “I am a fan.”

How CyFlare’s Cybersecurity Tools Protect Customers

CyFlare's Converged Security Platform brings together a comprehensive suite of services, including managed XDR, EDR, threat detection and response, incident response, and vulnerability scanning and management, which are built to work with a customer’s existing security and other applications and platforms, lowering the cost of implementations. CyFlare uses an open API-centric platform that includes more than 400 integrations, which allows complete tool choice and integration, according to the company.
