Ingram Micro is expanding the capabilities of its Xvantage IT channel platform with the global launch of its AI-powered Xvantage Integrations Hub, which aims to make it easier for partners to streamline and speed up complex application integrations for their customers.
Designed and built by Ingram Micro’s global platform group, the new Xvantage Integrations Hub is powered by AI models that allow users to quickly and securely integrate a wide range of critical business applications with existing SaaS platforms including CRM, ERP, RMM, and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), according to the company. For channel partners and MSPs, the hub is built to speed up time to value and eliminate the need for complex and expensive custom software development. The hub is also designed to reduce manual workloads, empowering partners to scale efficiently and giving them back more time to provide other services to customers.
A key benefit of the Ingram Micro Xvantage Integration Hub is that it offers instant access to prebuilt applications and secure modern workflows in a marketplace where channel partners and MSPs can find needed tools. The new hub is available today in nine countries where Xvantage has been deployed so far.
Using the hub, channel partners and MSPs will be able to complete application integrations for customers in seconds or minutes instead of in months, according to the company. Some of the applications offered by other vendors through the hub so far include HubSpot, Salesforce, and ZOHO, with dozens of additional integrations expected to go live in the hub throughout 2025.
Ingram Micro did not respond to several questions about the launch of the new hub and how it will benefit partners, MSPs and customers.
‘Right Solution at the Right Time,’ Says Analyst
Shelly Kramer, principal analyst with Kramer&Co., told ChannelE2E that launching the new Xvantage Integrations Hub is a smart move for Ingram Micro today as the company has an IPO looming.
“The bottom line reality is that anything and everything Ingram Micro does to gain industry favor and attention is beneficial,” said Kramer. “I do not say that to take anything from the impact of the news of Ingram Micro's new Xvantage Integrations Hub, which is very attractive. But the tech stack is becoming increasingly complex, and an AI-powered model that streamlines integration and security within organizations' existing SaaS platforms is very attractive, giving customers the ability to leverage the platform to drive automation, scale the stack, and potentially, drive a competitive advantage in the channel.”
For Ingram Micro, “the more quickly and effectively, not to mention securely, they can serve customers, the better,” said Kramer. “This is the right solution at the right time and will without question be embraced by the MSP ecosystem of providers.”
Another analyst, Rob Enderle, principal analyst of Enderle Group, agrees.
“Doing integrations is a painful process” for partners and customers, said Enderle. “It is time-consuming work that few enjoy, yet it is critical to assuring customer and user satisfaction with the results. Manual workarounds when integration has not been done or when it does not work are annoying and have a negative impact on applications and the companies that provide them.”
In addition, a lack of integration tools can slow the sales process and make some applications unusable for customers, he said. “By simplifying these integrations, Ingram Micro is reducing costs and increasing the value of related solutions. MSPs can then shift their resources to less aggravating tasks while lowering related costs and increasing the utility of their solutions. As AI advances, expect to see more offerings like this as they will positively differentiate the solutions that use them.”
