Anser Advisory is based in Santa Ana, California. The company has 1485 employees listed on LinkedIn.

The acquisition enhances Accenture’s ability to help companies and state and local public sector organizations complete large, long-term infrastructure projects more predictably and efficiently—projects that support growth for clients and have a positive impact on communities, Accenture said.

Accenture also says the move expands its capital project capabilities and was first announced on June 21, 2023.

Accenture Layoffs

The acquisition comes approximately one month after Accenture announced a second round of layoffs at its Austin location, with more than 700 people losing their jobs.

Accenture currently employs around 5,900 people in Austin, according to the Austin Chamber of Commerce.

Those layoffs followed a wider announcement Accenture made in March in an SEC filing that said the company would be cutting 19,000 employees globally, or about 2.5% of its workforce, over the next 18 months.

Despite the layoffs, Accenture continues to buy businesses – acquiring over a dozen businesses in the last 18 months.
