Accenture has acquired Enaxis Consulting, a Houston-based digital consulting firm with experience in IoT, analytics, and robotics across the oil, gas and airline industries, the companies confirmed today. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Enaxis serves Fortune 500 companies -- working closely with CIOs, CTOs and chief digital officers, Accenture asserts. Typical digital project engagements include advanced analytics, robotic process automation and the Internet of Things (IoT). Enaxis team members specialize in Agile SAFE, scrum master and digital product adoption.
Deloitte veterans Dhiren Shethia and Jonas Georgsson founded Enaxis in 2002. The duo wanted to deliver high quality, trusted guidance without charging "obnoxiously" high rates, according to the Enaxis website. The first company tagline was "Big Five at Half the Price” -- a jab at big, expensive consulting firms at the time. We'll be watching to see if that culture remains intact under Accenture's ownership.
Enaxis also avoided traditional terms like partner and reseller in order to remain customer-centric rather than vendor centric. Still, the company does work with key technology companies -- including Antuit, Automation Anywhere, DataRobot, Red Hat, Ruths.ai, SynchroNet, Tecnics and UiPath, the Enaxis website indicates.
