Champion Solutions Group Acquires AWS, Azure, HPE Partner DirecLogix

Boca Raton, Florida-based Champion Solutions Group has acquired DirecLogix Corp, a fellow Florida-based IT organization that has Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure cloud and HP Enterprise partner expertise. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in Fort Lauderdale in 2005, DirecLogix provides systems, infrastructure, and software expertise. It was on the  Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in 2016. DirecLogix revenues were $11.6 million in 2015, according to that Inc. 5000 honor. ChannelE2E does not have more recent revenue information.

DirectLogix has additional offices in Boston, Massachusetts and Santa Clara, California. Ten DirecLogix employees will join Champion as part of the acquisition.

Champion’s Growth Strategy

Champion Solutions Group has healthy history of organic growth coupled with M&A deals. The company was founded in 1979 but now focuses on virtualization, cloud, and data management, along with security solutions. According to Crunchbase, Champion has between 101 and 250 employees across offices in eight states.

In October 2018, Champion acquired ServiceNow partner systemiC for an undisclosed sum. Champion CEO Chris Pyle says his firm is very close to launching a new product from that investment, calling these “very exciting times” for the company.

Meanwhile, this latest deal is part of Champion’s plan to propel its next generation data center and software capabilities, according to the firm. The acquisition will especially bolster Champion’s skills around the Intel and HP Enterprise platform space, the company added.

Pyle commented on the deal:
