Flotek Group, an IT and Managed Service Provider, has expanded its business scope by acquiring Orbiss, an IT and telecommunications company focusing on the hospitality industry. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
This acquisition, overseen by the GS Verde Group, is the tenth for Flotek and marks its foray into the hospitality sector.

Strategic Growth and Team Expansion
The acquisition of Truro-based Orbiss has enabled Flotek to increase its team size to 72 employees and elevate its revenue to £8.5 million (approximately US$10.68 million). Orbiss specializes in providing IT and telecommunication solutions to the hospitality industry, working with clients like Best Western and Holiday Inn.
This marks Flotek's initial step into the hospitality sector, with Orbiss set to play a key role in Flotek's operations in Southwest England and enhance the Plymouth team's capability to serve more clients in the area. Flotek has already invested resources to support the integration of Orbiss's team and customers, maintaining the established expertise of Orbiss.
