Pax8 and Blackpoint Cyber Collaborate on Enhanced Managed Detection and Response

Cloud commerce marketplace company Pax8 has partnered with cybersecurity firm Blackpoint Cyber

The collaboration is designed to bring Blackpoint Cyber's Managed Detection and Response (MDR) technology into the Pax8 Marketplace. 

With this integration, managed service providers (MSPs) will have a system in place designed to detect, isolate, and counteract threats continuously throughout the year, the company said.

Blackpoint's Role in the Pax8 Marketplace

Blackpoint Cyber's provides SOC (security operations center) as-a-service, supported by its MDR platform. In the Pax8 product lineup, the Blackpoint Response aligns with cybersecurity standards, such as those by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This ensures broad security coverage for users and simplifies security management tasks for MSPs, the company said.

The Blackpoint Cloud security product, Cloud Response, will be available both as an individual solution and as part of the Response bundle on the Pax8 Marketplace.

Come November 2023, MSPs and other users can expect to access Blackpoint Cyber's range of cloud products on the Pax8 Marketplace.
