BlueLine Associates (BLA) has acquired BlueStaff Inc.'s (BSI) technology division, the companies confirmed today. The two businesses, which have partnered since March 2016, both have managed IT services expertise. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Under the M&A strategy, BlueLine's new Staffing Solutions service line will support Fortune 500, mid-market and emerging companies in a variety of industries across technology, professional and executive positions. In addition, the BSI acquisition will enhance BlueLine's managed IT services capabilities, the companies said.
Candice Keenan, director of operations at BlueStaff will continue to lead the staffing team while transitioning to BlueLine as the new director of staffing solutions.
BlueLine Growth, MSP And Software Expansion
BlueLine, which positions itself as a business process management (BPM) services provider, had a 168% compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) from 2011 to 2014, according to third-party research at the time. ChannelE2E doesn't know if the consulting firm has maintained that torrid growth rate from 2015 through present.
Over the past year, the Cary, N.C.-based company has aggressively expanded its managed IT services practice. The effort included hiring John Zazzera as partner to lead a Managed Services Division (which was new at the time) along with Business Process & Transaction Outsourcing. He also oversees the company's financial services offerings.
Also this year, the company has expanded its application development, support and staffing services. Key IT partners include Capriza (application modernization), MachineShop (IoT services and enterprise integration), Micropact (BPM software), VCE (converged infrastructure) and Xchanging (procurement services).
