TSYS has acquired — from The Merchants Group Limited (a Dimension Data company) — the remaining 45-percent ownership share in its TSYS Managed Services EMEA joint venture, the companies confirmed today.
As a result of the deal, TSYS Managed Services is now a wholly owned TSYS company focused on outsourced business process and contact center services in the United Kingdom and The Netherlands.
TSYS Managed Services EMEA was formed in 2006 as a joint venture between TSYS and Dimension Data, the companies said.
TSYS Managed Services provides customer service, fraud risk management and strategy, collections, disputes management and back-office and help-desk services for TSYS’ clients through outsourced contact centers. Mark Cleary, COO, will continue to lead the managed services group and now reports to TSYS Executive VP Dennis Jones.
