Sherweb has added the Rewst Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform to its growing Sherweb Marketplace partner portal, bringing new capabilities for MSPs to help them provide time-saving workflow automation services for their customers.
“Automation is something MSPs have been asking for, but historically it has been either too complex, too expensive or required a skill set they do not have in-house,” Benji Germain, vice president of product at Sherweb, told ChannelE2E. “What we have done is added Rewst into our cloud marketplace, so now within the Sherweb partner portal, MSPs can easily access and adopt automation as part of their business operations.”
The Sherweb Marketplace a place where MSPs can find the right products and components that they then can integrate with others to provide needed services to their customers, said Germain. “Rewst is a great example of this in action. Instead of MSPs having to source, vet, and implement automation on their own, they can now get it directly through us, alongside the cybersecurity, cloud, and business solutions they already use,” he said. “Rewst stood out because it is built specifically for MSPs, making automation accessible without a steep learning curve.”
The addition of Rewst’s availability through the marketplace was recently announced by Sherweb.
What Rewst Brings for MSPs
The Rewst RPA platform includes native multi-tenant support and integrations through more than 100 pre-built integrations with popular MSP cloud and security tools, such as Sherweb, Microsoft 365, Acronis, Bitdefender, and SentinelOne. The Rewst platform is built to help MSPs to automate repetitive, time-intensive tasks to improve businesses efficiency and growth. The Rewst platform helps MSPs and customers automate processes including ticket handling, user onboarding/offboarding, Microsoft 365 management, password resets, and other workflows, raising efficiency and saving time.
Rewst also allows its pre-built automations, which are called Crates, to be customized by MSPs, while also allowing them to build their own workflows to automate their own processes using Rewst’s low-code workflow builder, according to the company.
“What really sets Sherweb apart in these [marketplace’ partnerships is how we support adoption,” said Germain. “It is not just about listing a product – we focus on enablement, integration and ensuring partners can use what they buy. That is a major gap in the channel today. Too often, MSPs are left to figure things out on their own, dealing with complex vendor relationships, confusing billing structures or solutions that do not align with their business model.”
Bringing Rewst into the Sherweb Marketplace was a natural extension of that philosophy, added Germain. “It is another way we are making sure partners have the right tools, not just to resell, but to run better businesses and scale on their own terms.”
The new Rewst services are available now to MSP customers through the Sherweb Marketplace. Sherweb works with more than 7,500 MSP partners that provide services to more than 100,000 companies.
A Helpful Partnership for MSPs: Analyst
For MSPs that are busy every day helping their customers with all kinds of IT challenges, the Rewst tools through the Sherweb Marketplace will likely be a very appreciated addition, Shelly Kramer, principal analyst with Kramer&Co., told ChannelE2E.
“Organizations of all sizes, including MSPs, are trying to get their arms around AI, including how to identify potential use cases, how to deploy, train, utilize, and more,” she said. “And they are also likely trying to navigate this with a shortage of workers skilled in all things AI. That is why partnerships like this that offer out-of-the-box integrations and easy-to-use, easily customizable workflows, are attractive. When faced with a build or buy decision as it relates to all things AI, buying from trusted vendor partners who are already delivering for others in the industry is an easy decision.”
