Accenture Acquires Northstream for 5G Wireless, IoT Consulting

Accenture’s buying spree continues with the acquisition of Stolkholm-based Northstream. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Northstream, founded in 1998, provides consultancy to communications service providers (CSPs) and networking services vendors, helping them identify industry shifts and adapt to market changes.

The acquisition grows Accenture’s presence in the Nordic region, allowing it to address CSP demand for network consulting programs around 5G deployment and IoT connectivity, the company said.

All of Northstream’s approximately 30 employees will join Accenture’s Communications, Media & Technology operating group, Accenture said in a prepared statement.
