Integris Acquires Network People, Expands Presence to Florida

Integris, an IT managed service provider (MSP), has announced the acquisition of Network People, a company based in Tampa, Florida, marking its ninth acquisition in four years. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Integris, founded in 2021, is based in Cranbury Township, New Jersey. The company has 453 employees listed on LinkedIn. Integris’ areas of expertise include strategic IT consulting services, hardware and software management, networking, a 24/7 service desk, on-site troubleshooting/installations, cybersecurity monitoring, and backup solutions.

Network People, founded in 1997, is based in Tampa, Florida. The company has 20 employees listed on LinkedIn. Network People's areas of expertise include IT consulting, disaster recovery, risk assessments, cloud services, Microsoft solutions, managed security services, cybersecurity training, incident response, government cybersecurity, managed IT services, security consulting, and HelpDesk.

This strategic move allows Integris to extend its service offerings to businesses in Florida, increasing its footprint to 11 states across the United States, according to the company.

Integris M&A Growth

Backed by private equity firm Frontenac, Integris is looking for more managed service providers to incorporate into its growing portfolio. This proactive approach to acquisitions is part of the company's broader strategy to offer comprehensive IT solutions across a wider geographic area.

Integris was formed in October 2021 through the merger of Domain, Compudyne, MyITpros and ProviDyn.

This marks Integris’ ninth acquisition in four years. 

In January 2023, the company acquired CalTech, a community banking-focused IT MSP with offices in Texas and Kansas. In October 2022, it bought Blue Jean Networks and Security7. In January 2022, Integris acquired Iconic IT.
