MSP Acquired: CloudScale365 Buys eApps Hosting

Nashville, Tennessee-based managed IT services firm, CloudScale365, has acquired eApps Hosting. The deal will expand CloudScale365’s portfolio beyond Microsoft-based solutions to include Linux managed cloud applications.

This is M&A deal Number 122 that ChannelE2E has covered so far in 2020. See the complete M&A deal list here.

eApps’ Create-a-Cloud platform – a Virtual Cloud Server (VCS) platform – allows businesses to build custom Linux or Windows Virtual Private Services and customize their RAM, Disk space, and other options. The platform negates the need for traditional providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.

Pat Hannon, CEO of CloudScale365, commented:

"This is a compelling combination that will create significant value for both company's customers through a broadened portfolio of Linux and Windows cloud solutions, tailored managed service, and innovative platform technology. CloudScale365's growth over the last year has enabled the company to accelerate services to new levels and provide a premier customer experience for businesses that do not have the time or expertise to do it themselves."

eApps, founded in 1986, has data center operations in Richmond, Virginia; Suwanee, Georgia; and the New York Metro area, according to its website. CEO Rick Lingsch shifts to managing director of the division under CloudScale365's ownership.

For its part, Cloudscale365 has offices in New York, Tennessee, and Delaware. Operating since 2005, the company is no stranger to acquisitions, having penned at least half-a-dozen deals since 2017.
