MSP management platform provider company NinjaOne has appointed its first global channel chief.
Joe Lohmeier takes the position where he will be responsible for building out the company’s channel program to help fuel its global partner organization and spur partner success, the company said.
Under Lohmeier’s guidance, NinjaOne will launch an expanded partner program and portal to further demonstrate its commitment to MSPs, resellers, and distributors, the company said.
As a result of its investment in the channel, the company says it will also provide a greater level of on-demand training and deal support.
Lohmeier previously worked at VMware, Cisco Systems, and Avaya. Most recently, he served as worldwide vice president of sales and channels at Vypota Inc. Prior to Vyopta, Lohmeier was the global Channel Chief at Avaya where channel sales represented $3.2 billion of business and consisted of a 250-person team managing over 9,000 global partners.

About NinjaOne
NinjaOne is an upstart in the growing Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) market. The company was previously known as NinjaRMM but rebranded in October 2021 in a move that signaled its increased focus on MSPs and internal IT departments. Since then, the company’s workforce has scaled to 1,000 employees, growing 100 percent year-over-year.
The company initially concentrated largely on RMM software for MSPs, but expanded into cloud-based backup and disaster recovery software in 2020. Also of note, NinjaOne developed a documentation software platform that competes against IT Glue from Kaseya and ITBoost from ConnectWise.
Lohmeier is only the company’s most recent high-profile appointment. In March 2023, the company appointed Robert Gibbons as its chief technology officer (CTO).
