Accenture Acquires SAP Partner Maihiro for CRM Consulting

Accenture’s buying spree is continuing into the new year. This time, the IT consulting and multinational professional services company is acquiring SAP partner Maihiro.

This also is Accenture's second acquisition of the day. The other deal involves buying Symantec's MSSP and Cyber Security Services business from Brocade.

Accenture Acquires Maihiro: Deal Details, Executive Perspectives

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Munich, Maihiro provides customer experience and customer relationship management consulting, optimization, and ongoing enhancement services across the SAP software baser. The firm has approximately 160 employees across offices in Germany and Austria. The deal also buttresses Accenture’s presence in Switzerland and across Europe, the companies said.

Accenture’s SAP Partnership, Investments

Accenture has deep expertise in the SAP market. The two companies in 2019 announced that they are co-developing and co-innovating the development of the SAP C/4HANA platform that is intended to elevate digital customer experiences.

Accenture has also acquired multiple SAP partners -- including these deals:

Accenture in fiscal year 2019 acquired 33 companies for a combined $1.2 billion. Most of the focus involved cloud services, digital transformation and cybersecurity.
