Datavail Acquires Oracle Partner for Business Intelligence Push

Share

Datavail, a major Oracle channel partner and MSP focused on managed database services, has acquired Art of BI, an Oracle analytics partner. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Datavail claims to be North America’s largest provider of managed services for data and database administration. The company has more than 500 DBAs who support customers running IBM DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL and SharePoint databases.

Datavail, by acquiring Art of BI, gains an Oracle analytics consulting company focused on Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition and Hyperion, the company says. The deal involves far more than IT consulting expertise. Intellectual property also is involved. Art of BI's software products include the first-ever plug-in for Oracle BI. Christian Screen, founder and CEO of Art of BI, will now lead Datavail’s Oracle BI practice.

Datavail is a ChannelE2E 100 member company for 2016, having raised $47 million in 2015 to help fuel and fund business growth.
