Marco, a St. Cloud, Minnesota technology service provider, has acquired Image Systems for Business Inc., a copier/printer provider from Somerset, New Jersey, for an undisclosed amount.

Image Systems has operated since 1987, owned and operated by husband and wife team Art and Susan Schwartz. Marco’s sales and service team will serve and support clients from Image Systems’ current location in Somerset, the company said.

Art Schwartz, president of Image Systems for Business, commented:

“We are pleased to have Marco serve our clients. They have a wide variety of solutions coupled with outstanding customer service. Our customer base is in great hands.”

The deal will add to Marco’s existing presence on the East Coast, first established when the company bought Pennsylvania’s Phillips Office Solutions in November 2018. Marco now has seven locations throughout Pennsylvania and two locations in Maryland.

Marco CEO Jeff Gau commented on this latest deal:

“We are always looking for good opportunities to expand in our current markets. Marco’s move into New Jersey allows our company to grow its Eastern region and provide our well-established IT expertise and solutions to our new clients.”

Marco has 1,430 employees and serves more than 35,000 clients from its 59 locations across the United States. Marco has acquired at least 25 companies in the last six years – many of them involving companies in the Wisconsin region.

In May, Marco acquired Appleton, Wisconsin copier/printer company Accent Business Solutions. In January, the firm purchased Light Chute, Wisconsin’s Enterprise Systems Group. In October 2016, the company bought Green Bay’s Infinity Technology.
