West Monroe Partners has acquired Waterstone Management Group. The deal deepens West Monroe's merger and acquisition (M&A) consulting expertise for technology companies and private equity firms. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Waterstone works exclusively with technology companies and their investors, with experience and insight across software, hardware, business & IT services, communications, and data & information services, the company says. The business focuses on on six core areas:
- Growth strategies;
- Go-to-market strategies;
- Customer success;
- Services transformation;
- Analytics; and
- Private equity consulting.
West Monroe's Expanding M&A Team
West Monroe, which also is a Top 100 Vertical Market MSP for 2019, is driving home the importance of Waterstone's M&A expertise. Indeed, buying Waterstone expands West Monroe's national M&A team by 15 percent, and San Francisco area headcount by 40 percent -- though actual headcount figures were not disclosed.
The combined M&A practice will offer:
- pre-close diligence capabilities across commercial, technology, and operations;
- post-close implementation and value creating services.
