New Channel Chief: Nextiva has announced the appointment of channel veteran Olen Scott to helm channel efforts for the cloud-based unified communications provider. He takes over for Marc Stein, who worked as Nextiva’s global vice president and channel chief since May 2021.
New Contract: MSP ExciteIT has been awarded a $1.73 million contract with LandLease Retirement Living. ExciteIT will provide hardware, software, discovery, security, and design services to the retirement village operator and developer for six months, according to the contract.
Verizon’s Data Center: Verizon has acquired a Los Angeles-based data center for $130 million. The 242,000-square-foot, eight-story building is located at 800 S. Hope St.

European Expansion: Cybersecurity provider Technoware Solutions has expanded its operations into Europe. The company, which operates in the United States, Canada, and India, has expanded its operations to Ireland. Technoware will now provide Identity and Access Management (IAM) services to European countries.
