5 Channel Partner Updates: Monday 30 October 2017

Good morning, channel partners. Here are five technology news updates, insights, chatter, and plenty more to start your day for Monday, October 30, 2017.

Actually, there are six timely updates designed for VARs, managed services providers (MSPs), cloud services providers (CSPs), independent software vendors (ISVs), telco master agents and telco agents to sip on. Take a look:

6. Momentum: Unified Communications specialist 8x8 says its total revenue was $72.5 million in Q2 2018, up 15 percent from the corresponding quarter last year. Also, service revenue from mid-market and enterprise customers rose 28 percent, and now represents 58 percent of the company's total service revenue.

Network Operations Center: Primelink, a local telecommunications company in Plattsburgh, New York, has unveiled a new network operations center (NOC) to monitor broadband services and improve customer experiences, according to the company. Primelink has a 242-mile fiber optic backbone that runs from Albany, N.Y. to Montreal, Canada, according to Sun Community News.

4. Real Estate: Tech Data has decided to buy office space that the distributor currently leases. The total price tag: $156.2 million, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

3. PSA Software: Deltek has launched Deltek for Professional Services, a cloud-based platform for PSA and CRM. We'll share more details soon.

2. ServiceNow for MSPs?: CareWorx apparently has customized ServiceNow and integrated it with SolarWinds MSP software. The result? Some rather interesting developments that may benefit MSPs. We're poking around for more details.
