6. Momentum: Unified Communications specialist 8x8 says its total revenue was $72.5 million in Q2 2018, up 15 percent from the corresponding quarter last year. Also, service revenue from mid-market and enterprise customers rose 28 percent, and now represents 58 percent of the company's total service revenue.
5. Network Operations Center: Primelink, a local telecommunications company in Plattsburgh, New York, has unveiled a new network operations center (NOC) to monitor broadband services and improve customer experiences, according to the company. Primelink has a 242-mile fiber optic backbone that runs from Albany, N.Y. to Montreal, Canada, according to Sun Community News.
4. Real Estate: Tech Data has decided to buy office space that the distributor currently leases. The total price tag: $156.2 million, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
3. PSA Software: Deltek has launched Deltek for Professional Services, a cloud-based platform for PSA and CRM. We'll share more details soon.
