Channel Brief: New Charter Expands Legal, MSP Reach with Element Buy

ConnectWise last week announced enhancements to its remote monitoring and management (RMM) and robotic process automation (RPA) solutions.

The intelligent automation and improved workflow enhancements to ConnectWise RMM and ConnectWise RPA offer efficiency improvements across business functions and will drive better customer or end-user experiences, enhance technician productivity, and reduce labor costs, the company said.

Improvements include automated patching with a significant expansion of third-party patching titles, covering 10 times more applications than last year, with plans to add additional titles and extend these capabilities to Automate, access to a library of more than 1,200 intelligent alerts and new out-of-the-box workflows based on power users' experience.

1. Mitel's CX with AI: Mitel this week announced general availability of its AI-powered customer experience (CX) management platform, Mitel CX. Mitel CX leverages generative AI-powered virtual agents, agent assistance, and real-time analytics to streamline workloads and provide deep insights for proactive issue resolution. Unified communications (UC) integration allows users to analyze omnichannel customer interactions, workforce performance, and operational trends. The solution can be deployed across cloud and on-premises infrastructures.

2. New Charter acquires Element Technologies: MSP platform company New Charter has acquired Element Technologies, an IT services, cybersecurity, automation & AI, and document management solutions provider specializing in the legal vertical. New Charter is a portfolio company of Oval Partners, with more than 50 locations across the U.S. Element serves over 300 law firms and corporate legal teams across the United States and internationally.

3. Proven IT acquires Professional Document Solutions: Managed services provider Proven IT has acquired Professional Document Solutions LLC (PDS), a distributor and service provider based in Colorado. This strategic acquisition will extend Proven IT's footprint and expand its ability to support clients nationwide. The transaction will significantly enhance PDS’s operational capacity, innovation capabilities, and overall market reach.

4. LogicMonitor adds AI observability for data centers: LogicMonitor today unveiled its latest features for IT operations (ITOps). This release improves visibility into AI workloads and applications and introduces upgrades to LogicMonitor’s flagship GenAI Agent, Edwin AI. New enhancements include AI workload monitoring, hybrid Kubernetes monitoring and observability and new cost optimization monitoring.

5. ArmorPoint teams up with NovaTech: ArmorPoint and managed office solutions provider NovaTech have announced a new partnership. NovaTech’s managed IT and physical asset security services will now be augmented by ArmorPoint’s suite of cybersecurity solutions, including managed SOC, managed risk and strategy development.
