Cognizant, the IT services and digital consulting giant, is acquiring Contino, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud consulting firm that also works closely with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
Contino offers digital transformation services to Global 2,000 clients. The company specializes in DevOps methodologies, a cloud-native development approach, and various data platforms,
Contino, founded in 2004, has approximately 350 employees worldwide, with operations in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia. Key customers include Adidas, Barclays, Dow Jones, Morgan Stanley and Vodafone. Contino’s engineering teams have completed more than 200 enterprise engagements since 2014.

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2019, pending regulatory approval.
