EverWatch has acquired Dynamic Engineering Solutions (DES), an IT consulting firm that provides software and systems engineering, cloud and systems administration to government agencies. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Take a closer look and you'll notice that Enlightenment Capital, a private equity firm, owns EverWatch. In fact, EverWatch was formed through four Enlightenment acquisitions in the defense and intelligence sector.
EverWatch provides advanced defense, intelligence, and deployed mission support to U.S. government agencies. The company has roughly 400 employees, nearly all of whom hold government security clearances. Primary customers include the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSDI), the Intelligence Community, the Air Force, the Department of State, and the Department of Justice.
DES, founded in 2011, is a cloud-centric IT consulting firm that works closely with Red Hat, Amazon Web Services and Cloudera. The company's staff averages over 15 years of experience each and are proven 24/7 support providers.
Describing the DES acquisition, EverWatch President Robert Miller said:
“DES helps EverWatch expand into technical adjacencies and broadens our relationship with the Intelligence Community. We are excited to welcome DES to the EverWatch family and look forward to expanding our combined capabilities to better serve our customers.”
Added Jason Rigoli, Partner of Enlightenment Capital:
“DES marks our fifth acquisition to the EverWatch platform. We look forward to bringing their talented workforce under our unified platform and see ample opportunity for growth within the combined entity.”
More deals could be coming. The investment firm continues to evaluate organic and M&A growth opportunities for EverWatch, according to Enlightenment Capital Managing Partner Devin Talbot.
