Silicon Valley-based reseller of 3D design and manufacturing solutions Hawk Ridge Systems has acquired Nebraska’s Parsons Technology, a manufacturing and shop floor solutions provider.
Parsons’ primary presence is in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Iowa. The company has assisted the manufacturing and machine industries with software applications like CAD/CAM programming for more than 30 years. With the addition of Parsons’ employees, Hawk Ridge will have a headcount of 245 people working from 22 offices and serving 22,500 customers, the company said.
The deal will allow Hawk Ridge to expand its footprint into the Midwest, according to the company’s President and CEO, Dale Ford:
“Our CAM teams have been working together for years sharing CAM and Post Processing projects, so it is only a natural progression that we would choose to work with Parsons as we expand our footprint in the Midwest. Best of all, we are now in the position to offer more software choices, tools, training and resources to support our new customers in Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.”

Hawk Ridge was founded in 1996. The company now provides coast-to-coast coverage in North America. Its solutions include the full portfolio of Dassault Systèmes - a French software company and major worldwide developer of 3D design, 3D digital mock-up, and product lifecycle management software. Hawk Ridge also offers the full suite of analysis, product data management, and productivity tools.
Hawk Ridge has M&A experience. The company acquired Cimtronics Midwest in May 2018 and Symmetry Solutions in October 2017.
