IT Direct, a Connecticut-based technology services provider, has acquired the managed service provider ITG Cloud. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
IT Direct has operated in Hartford, Connecticut since 2002, serving businesses in Connecticut and Wester Massachusetts. The deal provides the company with additional offices and staff in New Haven, the company said.
Ari Santiago, president, CEO, and founder of IT Direct, commented on the deal:
"This is an amazing opportunity to come together to provide the best technology service in the state. We look forward to partnering with ITG Cloud to expand both our footprint and our services and to provide even better service to our clients."
Steven Saslow, President and Founder of ITG Cloud, also commented:
"This merger will bring together the engineering strengths of ITG Cloud with the support structure, customer service, and back office of IT Direct to make one great team.”
The combined company will be the largest pure SMB technology managed service provider in the state, IT Direct asserts.
