SoftwareOne, backed by KKR private equity dollars, has been in acquisition mode in recent weeks -- acquiring IT services provider Comparex and a France-based MSP called ISI Expert.
After the Comparex deal is finalized, SoftwareOne will have more than 5,500 employees focused on “software-optimized, cloud-managed” solutions and services. Key additions to the talent pool include Comparex CEO Thomas Reich and CSO Marc Betgem, both of whom will join SoftwareONE’s executive team when the deal closes sometime in the first half of 2019. Financial terms were not disclosed.
SoftwareONE, headquartered in Stans, Switzerland, expects to have more than 200 locations across 88 countries -- with an ability to support customers across 150 countries.
In a separate deal announced in early October 2018, SoftwareOne acquired ISI Expert, a key Microsoft Azure and Office 365 managed services provider (MSP)e partner in France. Financial terms from the deal were not disclosed.
