TEKsystems Global Services, a global systems integrator based in Hanover, Maryland, has acquired 1Strategy, a Premier Consulting Partner in the Amazon Web Services Partner Network (APN). The deal surfaces as Amazon kicks off the AWS re:Invent 2019 conference in Las Vegas.
1Strategy, founded in 2015 has 23 employees, according to RocketReach. The Bellevue, Washington, AWS partner also has offices in San Francisco, California and Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ricardo Madan, vice president of technology products and services at TEKsystems Global Services, commented on the deal:
“With the common purpose of cloud-enabling our customers’ long-term success, along with a deeply shared culture and set of core values, we could not be more excited that 1Strategy is joining our team. Combining 1Strategy’s born-in-the-cloud model with our global scale and capacity, we offer our customers a new AWS experience, particularly when compared to legacy consulting and systems-integrator alternatives.”

It appears as though 1Strategy will continue operating under its own name, as part of the TEKsystems Global Services family.

TEKsystems positions itself as a full-stack provider of technology, talent and application services. Its 80,000-person team serves more than 6,000 customers, including 80 percent of the Fortune 500 in North America, Europe and Asia, the company says.
The firm's team has more than 300 AWS certifications and accreditations, including AWS Well-Architected Partner, having completed over 500 successful cloud enablement, DevOps, and application/data modernization projects for its customers.
