Datavail (Broomfield, Colo.), an MSP focused on database management, has acquired Navantis (Toronto, Canada), a 200-person Microsoft Premier Partner. Navantis has expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and .NET. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Combining Datavail's market leadership in data integration and database services with Navantis' application and software development lifecycle expertise greatly strengthens the combined companies' capabilities, the two companies said. Andy Papadopoulos, CEO of Navantis, will remain with the organization as head of the Microsoft Solutions Division of Datavail.
This is Datavail's second acquisition in the past few months. The company acquired Art of BI -- an Oracle partner -- in July 2016. That deal was one of the Top 100 VAR, MSP and CSP acquisitions of 2016, according to ChannelE2E. (The complete list will debut during our January 26, 2017 webcast.)
Datavail raised $47 million in 2015 to help fuel and fund business growth. Datavail specializes in development and managed services for Oracle, Oracle E-Business Suite, OBIEE and OBIA, Hyperion, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, DB2 and SharePoint.
