EMC has launched MyService360 -- a cloud-based dashboard that allows corporate IT departments to manage and monitor their global EMC environments. The big question: Will MyService360 have a multi-tenant version for MSPs and other types of service providers?
According to EMC, MyService360, "Delivers highly visual and customizable views of IT service environments for near real-time understanding of EMC system status and health across the enterprise."
The dashboard is free to current customers with an EMC warranty or maintenance agreement. The system is built on top of a secure, cloud-based EMC Internal Data Lake, the company says.
The system works best when customers connect through EMC Secure Remote Services Virtual Edition (ESRS v3) – a two-way remote connection between EMC Customer Service and EMC products or solutions, the company said.
EMC plans to introduce a multi-tenant version of MyService360 for MSPs and other types of service providers down the road, according to a spokesperson for the company. The company did not disclose a specific timetable for that release.
