Node4 Acquires VMware and Microsoft Azure Cloud Partner Secura

Node4, a Derby, United Kingdom-based hybrid cloud, data center and communications managed services provider (MSP), has acquired Secura, a VMware and Microsoft Azure cloud services partner.

This is Node4's fifth and largest acquisition -- adding 110 customers and 35 employees to the business. Also, Node4’s total annualized run-rate revenues will reach nearly £55 million (approximately US$70.7 million), a spokesperson told ChannelE2E.

Node4 already has an N4Stack Managed Cloud Services offering for Azure and Amazon Web Services. Secura's growing Azure public cloud services should align well with that business.

The deal comes less than one month after Dell, Microsoft and VMware announced Azure VMware Solutions — which combine software-defined compute, storage, networking and management deployed in Azure. VMware has a similar relationship with AWS.
