Channel veteran Justin Crotty has rejoined NetEnrich as senior VP of channel sales and marketing. The move comes as NetEnrich accelerates its management services for MSPs and CSPs. The key ingredient in NetEnrich's model: Partners retain control of their end-customers.

Updated Oct. 12, 2016, 4:00 p.m. ET: ChannelE2E interview with Crotty.

Crotty is well-known across the IT channel. He most recently was director of business development at Cisco Systems. He joined the networking giant through Cisco's 2015 buyout of MaintenanceNet. Earlier, he helped to build NetEnrich's original hybrid cloud management strategy.

Crotty also played a key role in Ingram Micro's original managed services strategy (aka Seismic), which eventually evolved into the Ingram Micro Cloud push.

NetEnrich Evolution

Raju Chekuri

NetEnrich, led by CEO Raju Chekuri, was known mostly for NOC services during the early managed services wave. But more recently, the company has introduced and/or expanded a range of services that assist MSPs and CSPs with their on-premises and cloud-based offerings. The company also has a two-tier distribution model.

Among the recent moves worth tracking: NetEnrich has a growing relationship with the Microsoft Azure cloud team. Moreover, the services company has closely tracked the container market, and sees major opportunities ahead for channel partners that want to cash in on Docker management.

The big question: How will NetEnrich's sales strategy evolve now that Crotty's back in town? The safe bet given Crotty's DNA: Plenty of channel emphasis. We'll be sure to offer an update as soon as we connect with him.
