Accenture has acquired Tenbu, a Latin America cloud consultancy focused on analytics, big data and machine learning. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This is technology M&A deal number 690 that ChannelE2E has covered so far in 2022.

Accenture Buys Big Data Analytics Consultancy: Deal Details

Tenbu, founded in 2004, is headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The company employs 170 data specialists. Key partners include Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, OneTrust, Informatica, Tableau, Microsoft, IBM and PTC, according to the Tenbu website.

Accenture has acquired 11 technology consultancies that are headquartered in Latin America over the past five years, the buyer noted. Other example deals include ServiceNow partner Organize Cloud Labs of Brazil, and Wolox and Ergo in Argentina, Accenture noted.

Accenture expects to spend about $2.5 billion on acquisitions during the company’s current 2022 fiscal year, which ends on August 31, 2022. The $2.5 billion figure is down from a previous M&A spending estimate of about $4.0 billion for fiscal 2022. The reduction mostly involves some acquisitions taking longer to close while navigating various compliance checks, the company indicated.
