Accenture Acquires Strategic IT Consulting Firm LEXTA

Accenture has acquired strategic IT consulting firm LEXTA for an undisclosed amount.

This is technology M&A deal number 473 that ChannelE2E has covered so far in 2021. See all technology M&A deals for 2021 and 2020 listed here.

Founded in 2003, LEXTA is headquartered in Berlin with additional offices in Düsseldorf, London and Zurich. LEXTA’s team of 60 employees will join Accenture’s Technology Strategy & Advisory group, the company said.

LEXTA provides benchmarking and advisory services, especially for cloud, platform and application technologies, offering detailed analysis and market comparisons of the quality, scope, processes and efficiency of both vendors and IT departments.

The company’s clients include companies in the utilities, logistics and manufacturing industries. LEXTA’s capabilities complement Accenture’s ZBx agenda, which extends the traditional zero-based budgeting (ZBB) approach to align priorities across the organization, identify cost-saving opportunities and reinvest freed-up funds in technology-enabled business transformation, according to Accenture.
