A. Today’s Tech, Channel and MSP News

1. New executives appointed - MSP focused private equity firm Evergreen’s enterprise resource planning software and services branch, Pine Services Group has added Tommy Dziedzic as its new chief financial officer. The appointment follows Jana Schmidt stepping in as Pine’s new CEO last month, Dziedzic’s appointment is Pine’s second leadership transition since the beginning of the year. Evergreen said the combined expertise of these two executives provides resources and guidance that position Pine at the forefront of the private equity industry.  

2. Platform update rolls out - Nerdio, a solution provider for MSPs looking to manage and cost-optimize native Microsoft cloud technologies, has upgraded Nerdio Manager for MSP (NMM), version 5.0. Nerdio Manager for MSP (NMM) 5.0 bolsters security, enhances user satisfaction, and maximizes margins with features such as AssistPro, an AI-powered in-app assistant delivering instant, context-aware support, and Unified App Management (UAM), a tool ensuring consistency and simplicity of application management across customer environments. 3. Identity console for MSPs - CyberArk, an identity security company, has launched CyberArk MSP Console, a new tool for managed service providers that improves operational efficiency and scalability. The tool lets MSPs can view and monitor customers using the CyberArk Identity Security Platform via a dedicated, comprehensive dashboard.

4. Upgraded cybersecurity brand - Dyopath, a managed services provider specializing in IT proficiency, cybersecurity, strategic consulting, and AI-driven operational efficiency, is rolling out its new brand of cybersecurity services, DYOGUARD. DYOGUARD ProtectPro is the company’s tier 2 offering, which includes everything offered by DYOGUARD Protect, as well as SOC as a Service, eXtended detection & response (XDR, Enhanced SIEM), physical & virtual network traffic analysis (NTA), vulnerability scanning, automated pentesting, a dedicated security analyst, and live security advisory calls.

5. Acquisition - Identiv, Inc., a global digital security and identification leader in the Internet of Things (IoT), has entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement to sell its physical security, access card, and identity reader operations and assets to Vitaprotech, a security solutions provider.
