1. Vendor partnership - SentinelOne is partnering with MSP platform company NinjaOne. The companies say they will offer a streamlined, consolidated approach to cybersecurity and IT operations, offering IT teams, MSPs and security teams enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in their daily roles. SentinelOne customers can now seamlessly centralize security management with NinjaOne, and NinjaOne users can deploy the SentinelOne agent to endpoints. NinjaOne recently scored a $231.5 million round of series C funding.

2. New M&A course session - Channel M&A expert Linda Rose will be running a new session of her M&A Course for IT Service Professionals in a few weeks. 

3. Cybersecurity growth opportunity - ResearchandMarkets has released its Top 10 Growth Opportunties in Cybersecurity in 2024 report, and one of them is “MSSPs enhancing their service integration.” 

4. Top boss compensation - Broadcom CEO Hock Tan's annual compensation more than doubled to $161.8 million in 2023, a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) showed on February 26. Tan's 2023 pay, which was fueled by stock awards of $160.5 million, was 510 times the median salary of employees at the chip firm.(Reuters)

5. Carbon Black sale on pause - Broadcom has put a on hold a sales process for its security software business Carbon Black, according to a Bloomberg News reported on February 27 which cited people familiar with the matter. Interest fell short of the company’s expectations. (Bloomberg)

6. Microsoft AI Azure partnership - Microsoft will make French startup Mistral AI's artificial intelligence models available through its Azure cloud computing platform under a new partnership, the companies said on Monday.

7. Managed network services market - The managed network services market will be worth $89.9 billion by 2028, according to a new report by MarketsandMarkets. The cloud and edge computing will be rapidly adopted, security and compliance will be given more attention, and automation and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies will be integrated into managed network services, the firm said.
