In a move to expand its market presence, Corporate Technologies has acquired NuMSP, further extending its reach into 16 markets across 11 states. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Corporate Technologies, established in 1981 and headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, employs 227 professionals, according to LinkedIn. The company is recognized for its expertise in Managed IT Services, Voice & Data Networking, IT Consulting Services, IT Staffing, Storage & Virtualization, Technology Support, and Cloud Services.
NuMSP is based in Clifton, New Jersey and has a workforce of 44 employees on its LinkedIn page. The company’s areas of expertise include Managed IT Services Provider, Cybersecurity, Hosted and Managed IT Services, Proactive remote monitoring, Patch management, On-site and remote support, Strategic technology planning, Security Assessment, Outsourced IT, Network Assessment, and Network Security.

Strategic Growth Through Acquisition
This latest acquisition marks Corporate Technologies' fifth and its first since the company came under the ownership of Tonka Bay Equity Partners in July of 2023. This strategic move is aligned with Corporate Technologies’ objective to establish a national footprint and deliver technology services that support customer success.
Facilitating the transaction, IT ExchangeNet, known for its leadership in mid-market mergers and acquisitions focusing on MSPs, played a pivotal role in the negotiation process for NuMSP.
In 2021, NuMSP made an acquisition of its own, buying Realize Information Technology, a full-service MSP that provides IT solutions for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). Other NuMSP deals included:
- K-Tech Solutions of Ohio and Business Network Solution of Arkansas.
- J and J Technical Services, an Albuquerque, New Mexico-based managed service provider
- NetFusion, a managed IT services provider in Los Angeles
- AZBS, a Chicago-based full-service MSP that serves SMBs
- A business arm of Corporate Technologies in March 2019
- Sacramento, California’s Salient IT
- Ultimate Technical Solutions Inc (UTSI) of New Orleans, Louisiana; and
- Network Medics, an MSP in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota.
