IT solution and managed services provider Logicalis US is looking to help CIOs optimize their digital ecosystems across both business and environmental impact.

The company has launched the Managed Digital Fabric Platform, which will provide insights into key metrics like service availability, user experience, and environmental impact, the company said.

The platform generates a Digital Fabric Score based on five key metrics: availability, economics, environment, security, and user experience. This work is driven by AI and machine learning. The metrics are also benchmarked against similar organizations for comparison, and provide actionable recommendations for performance enhancement, Logicalis said.

  • Availability covers visibility of traffic utilization and capacity along with predictive analytics to prevent service disruption
  • Economics looks at utilization data providing insights on opportunities to maximize investment as well as practical measures to cut costs without compromising performance such as scheduled power outages, relicensing or upgrading to more efficient technologies
  • Environment is real-time monitoring of power and capacity utilization to identify energy density and recommendations on how to measurably cut carbon emissions
  • Security focuses on measurement of ongoing security compliance in real-time and insights on how to reduce threat dwell times
  • User experience looks at responsiveness, usability and productivity are tracked to identify ways to enhance the user experience
