Cloud service provider Evolve IP has acquired Workspace as a Service (WaaS) provider Azzaron Inc. of Mesa, Arizona. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
This is Evolve IP's 10th acquisition since about 2007. The Azzaron deal gives Evolve IP a stronger presence in the Southwestern United States, while pushing deeper into the veterinary, construction, and legal vertical markets, the company says.
Azzaron, founded in 2009, specializes in Desktop as a Service (Daas), Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas), and WaaS. Evolve IP will integrate and cross-sell the Azzaron offerings. At the same time, Azzaron's team will promote Evolve’s cloud computing services and cloud communications services, which include hosted contact centers, IP phone systems, and unified communications. The Azzaron team will remain intact, with the company saying it expects to grow its headcount and its regional focus.
