ConnectWise partners can receive Microsoft Office 365 discounts of 20 percent from January 1 through June 30, 2017, but partners must register for the offer before December 31, 2016.
The discount is designed for ConnectWise partners that run the company's Sell, Manage and/or Automate platforms (formerly called Quosal, ConnectWise PSA and LabTech). The offer is good for net new Office 365 seats in the U.S., according to Gavin Gamber, VP of channel sales and alliances at ConnectWise. Partners that leverage the offer will receive the 20 percent refund after the program expires in June 2017, he adds.
Meanwhile, ConnectWise continues to extend beyond its MSP and IT service provider base. The company is promoting the Sell platform (designed for quoting and sales proposals) to VARs at this week's Ingram Micro ONE conference in Las Vegas.
ConnectWise Sell APIs Link VARs, Distributors
As part of the effort, ConnectWise has been developing and activating new Sell APIs, which provide tighter connections to Ingram Micro and other distributor systems. VARs can therefore leverage ConnectWise Sell to track product orders, invoicing and more. "It will give VAR sales reps all the information they need in one spot," asserts Gamber.
Over time, ConnectWise expects some or many of those VARs to increasingly embrace IT project management software (part of ConnectWise Management) before extending into managed our cloud services (i.e., ConnectWise Automate and CloudConsole).
