N-able is partnering with Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC) to offer an enhanced security product to MSPs and their customers.
The United States Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) established JCDC in August 2021 with the mandate of transforming traditional public-private partnerships into a real-time private-public operational collaboration.
The JCDC 2023 Planning Agenda helps advance cybersecurity and reduce supply chain risk for small and medium critical infrastructure entities through collaboration with remote monitoring and management, managed service providers, and managed security service providers.
The collaboration with JCDC gives N-able and its MSP partners access to information and resources to help shift from reacting to threats and vulnerabilities, to proactively planning and taking steps to mitigate them in the ever-evolving threat landscape, the company said.

N-able’s Increasing Cybersecurity Focus
The partnership comes less than a month after N-able expanded its Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) offering.
Indeed, cybersecurity is top of mind for N-able and its chief security officer David MacKinnon. He said as much to ChannelE2E’s Jessica Davis in March 2023, before his presentation at the Right of Boom MSSP cybersecurity conference in Grapevine, Texas.
In February he briefed the N-able’s board of directors on the cyberthreats facing managed service provider tool companies – a briefing triggered by a January CISA cybersecurity advisory that mentioned N-able rival ConnectWise by name.
